I'm not really sure how to value my 2002 Xsara 1.6 VTR as the prices seem to be all over the place for these cars.
I'd appreciate some feedback about whether £1595 is a fair estimate given that the car has
- 12 months Tax
- MoT until 25/5/2011
- only 54K miles
Here's a video of the car...

It's very clean and I have owned it since November 2007. In the last year the car has had:
- new middle & rear exhaust sections
- new front discs & pads
- 2 new front tyres.
Is this a fair price for a Xsara.

Hi.
Sounds a bit steep. Parkers reckon £900 for a good example, although that's with 80000 miles, so yours might be worth a little more. You're in a relatively remote location too, although that could help you more than hinder you.
That backbox doesn't look right for the car - was the original a more ornamental one?
These cars aren't particularly loved, and aren't as quick as the badging suggests. See what interest you get, drop the price if you don't get any, and be prepared to drop some more at the final haggle.
Good luck!
James

It does look very tidy, a well kept car.
I would be advertising it for closer to £1200 and see how you go from there. But you may well get interest at your current pirce. Its a shame the Xsara is not a loved Citroen, but as yours is tidy it should sell ok.
