Following on from ghostriders post, can anything be done with the normally aspirated diesel 1.9? I was wondering about bolting on a turbo and limiting the boost so as not to blow up the higher compression engine...Any ideas/experience?

My idea would be to sell the NAD and buy a TD. Bolting a turbo onto a D is not an option at reasonable cost, plus you would never be able to run anything like the 1bar boost the TD's kick out, you'd just end up with bent pistons. There are a number of differences between the D and TD engines, one being the TD has oil jets to cool the cylinders whereas the D doesn't.
