Have you located and repaired the actual fault?

I believe some people suggest a 124g hollow point in 9mm. Careful aim is required to minimise damage to other parts of the dash.

Less destructive types might suggest looking up the nearest "Lexia" holder near you (look up the SuperSticky topic Lexia Locations), and negotiating with the appropriate Forum member for a diagnostic session. It's going to simplify the fault repair a whole lot.

Regards, Adam.

Check the connections under the front seats. These sometimes come loose/disconnect when adjusting the seats or cramming things under them.

Only if that is the problem - which it often is.
May take up to five trips before it clears.

Why not send a message to "Superloopy"? He's near Newcastle and has a Lexia. Perhaps it will help?

ECU needs up to five runs without the fault being recognised before the code is cleared and the lights go out.

If it isn't that then without replacing bits of the system in the hope of getting the right one is to run a diagnostic session on it.

With the Xantia II's Teves system, one "crash stop" to activate the ABS puts the light out! (Assuming the fault is actually fixed.)

I tried this when in a CBF mood after accidentally disconnecting a sensor then starting the car.

FYI the Lexia stuff is getting that cheap now, you could play with it for about £125 to your doorstep: http://www.buyobd.com/index.php?main_pa ... ducts_id=9

The connectors in question are under the carpet where the passangers feet rest not under the seat, the carpet pretty much just pulls up.
