I travel to France regularly, and it's amazing how many old Citroens are still in regular and unheralded use. Basically you name it, you'll find it in deepest rural France - guaranteed. I don't know all the model names, but an XM estate I saw parked in town looked like the guy's pigs lived in it most of the time. He probably turfed them out to drive into town. And the old corrugated-everything vans - 'Allo, 'Allo or what!
I had an early Charade - 993cc 3-cylinder petrol; wish I still did, but it fell off a mountain in Switzerland in '87.

That is true Paul, however the latest Subaru Justy is a the same car as the Diahatsu and the Perodua Myvi.
I spotted a very nice M reg Xantia TD yesterday, in white. Looks quiet clean and tidy. I then saw a N reg estate looking not so clean and tidy. More than ive seen in a while.

My Cars: 2011 Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ 1.6HDi in Kyanos Blue 1995 Xantia Estate SX 1.9TD in Vert Vega "The Green Lady" - now owned by XanTom 1998 Xantia 2.1 VXD Estate in Mauritius Blue - R.I.P. (terminal tin-worm)
There are lots of S1 Xantias here in Gloucestershire, mostly estates. Locally there were 2 nice and tidy virtually identical N reg green SX TD estates locally, one's mine but I haven't seen the other one for a few weeks (gone on holiday to France?) and I regularly see a silver S1 and a very smart maroon S2 - estates both. Stopped behind the latter at traffic lights last week.

My Citroen spotters had reported back to me that the local M reg 1.6 poverty spec Xantia was parked up at the side of the road with a horizontal rear wheel By the time I got to know of this, the car had disappeared....along with the wheel.
Theres a green Xantia S2 estate which by its placement could be for sale. It still looking like S1 Xantias are becoming a bit scarce around here, quite saddening really. I'm half tempted to stick a video camera on our main road for an hour or two during rush hour just so that I can watch it back in 5 or 10 years.
