Haynes Manuals

Post by Toby_HDi »

I have noticed that there is a manual available for the C5 from MY 01-08. However, this does not cover the V6 engine.

I have a copy of the 406 manual for MY 99-02 but again, this does not cover V6 models, nor the Coupe. I'm not worried about it covering the Coupe as the saloon/estate manual will provide a guide and the rest I can work out myself.

What would be nice though is a manual that covers the later ES9J4S V6 as some wiring diagrams would be handy. I recall someone mentioning that there is a C5 manual which does, but the only one I can fine is the one I mentioned. Of course, even better would be the actual workshop manuals the dealers themselves use but I've as much chance of finding these as I have of piloting Concorde.

Any ideas?
Toby

Sign up to http:// Service.Citroen.com.
Theres a fair amount that can be viewed FOC and for the rest, including wiring diagrams and maintenance procedures can be accessed for an hourly or daily charge approx 5Eu /hour 21Eu /day. The site is a bit clunky but I reckon you could download / cut and paste most of "a car" in twenty four hours. Alternatively purchase a bootleg copy of the complete Service Site Backup on Flea Bay

Already have an account there cachaciero. I thought you had to pay for everything bar the parts listings. If its all downloadable then might be cost effective to pay for access to d/l all I can.

I'll have a look.

Thanks
Toby

Currently you will find that some stuff like Info-Diag and Lexia stuff is open. Wiring diagrams and maintenance procedures are chargeable. Wiring info is on SEDRE and can be printed or imported as a printfile, mainteance procedures currently I had to copy them from the screen.
I downloaded a fair chunk of C5 schematics in a 1 hour period, I though 5Eu for a book of diagrams not a bad buy.

NB this is using a Linux box and Firefox the experience using I.E.6 maybe different, I say that because I have a backup version installed on one of my computers and that will only work correctly under i.e 6

I got one of the bootleg ones from the net somewhere (citroen backup), and it works ok under windows7 with IE8. Took a bit of a fight to make it work though. Had to separately download and install Isoview.
Good cos it covers most Citroens, but very clunky in operation. Can get to wiring diags, maintenance procedures etc etc - nice to have diagrams of stuff to help when you take things apart...
