Of course it's a s2 - yes they only did s2 HDi's. Just that
if you remove a s2 bonnet and bumper and replace with
s1 stuff it'd be more like a late special edition s1 with all
it's colour coding - that's all I was kidding about with
Superloopy!!! :?

The front ride height is totally wrong running too high and
the back looks slightly high if that's supposed to be normal
running height.

Isn't that the reason for the deployed airbag with the previous owner.
The best of both worlds - s1 looks with s2 auto wipers and a 110 hp HDi.

Don't know where they got the MK1 frontend from though, got any history to go withe car at all? Front end rebuilt at some time maybe?
Mike,

FULL HISTORY from DAY 1 ......is listed on V5 as "accident Damaged" though ... Gordon (the previous owner) ....Jammed it under a truck in 2002 ( i've seen the pictures)

Basically the truck stopped & Gordon didn't !!! ... it was a flat bed so the 2 protruding bits of angle iron (that supported the flat body) ripped into the bonnet & the bumper hit the rear Diff ...

Was a mess right enough ...... Accident happened 3 weeks before he was due to drive to greece ... so Gordon just "Found" summot to fit .. i.e. the Mk1 bits ....repaired it had it VIC checked & then DROVE IT TO GREECE!!!!! .......where it promptly broke down & he had it repaired by Citroen in Athens...

& OH YEAH!!! I have a Bill written in GREEK to prove it !!!!

Bin about a bit has this 'ere car lads!!!!

It appears I was wrong ... it wasn't Greece ... it broke down in FRANCE (On the way to Greece)

If anyone can read the attached I'd be most interested in what it says....

Yeah but look at the price. Either they did the dogbones or quickly reset the ride height... I haven't time to look up the P/Ns now.

Front height corrector replaced, along with some padding for the steel lines. Front spheres added were non-hydractive, "cold countries" grade.
