xm idle problem

My 2.0Si non cat when first used the fast idle was working but idle would not settle below 1000 rpm.This was ok for 4 weeks.Last time on starting the fast idle would not come on but after warm up the engine settled down to 1000 rpm . The engine is difficult to start what could have gone wrong. Engine system is Magneto Marrelli.Any Help.
