hi Veralum

i pay 40-45ppl for Waste.. I think supermarket is probably around 90-100 ppl, still a good saving on diesel..

Ratio wise, i normally stick 2 barrels in (50l) and top up with diesel.. in winter possibly more like 35/35 although that depends just how cold it is I think..

sometimes I try 95% WVO and 5L unleaded in winter.. but I am sure that 100% WVO/SVO in summer is quite fine..

I'm thinking I should really start using either supermarket oil, waste oil or biodiesel,

now your just picking on me!
Sorry, I couldn't resist but it's meant in good spirit.

I run 99% SVO until the weather gets so cold that my sample in a jar goes cloudy (has to be below zero for that), then I dilute/thin it with other fuel, possibly diesel. It's currently £4 for 5L in Tesco - that's the cheapest I can get.

Having said that, I met a man yesterday who buys DIY biodiesel (processed) for just 35ppl so I'll be trying to convince him to buy some for me. It'll be worth the 70 miles round trip IMO, assuming it's good quality and not liable to foul my pump/injectors in the long run.

It's not discounted in our three local stores. I've asked CS but they have only been trained to say "I don't know" followed by "What do you want me to do?" If you ask them to do something, like call head office, they say they can't and appear frightful at the suggestion.

I get mine at Trago Mills, but that doesn't help a lot unless you live in the westcountry.

Haha me too!!!
