i got mine from china and its fine, a bit of messing around to install but not too bad, i'd rather buy one on ebay from china than a uk seller who bought it from china himself and adds a load of money on

i've also updated the peugeot and citroen software

Did you have to pay any further import duty or VAT?

where did you get the updates from? can you just download to your clone lexia

i didn't have to pay anything extra, i paid £126 i think it was about €160,
customs did open it

when you open up the lexia and peugeot programs there is an option on the screen to update software, i was prompted to update a few times, updates are a bit slow and don't look like anything is happening but leave it alone or you'll have to reload it like i did

Price on these diagnostic tools is plummeting. I just bought one (a pirate version) with the 30-pin connector for a hair over £120 including postage.

Both myself and the other Australian Xantia owner will be happy! :roll:
