Citroen Service Online

Post by DHallworth »

Hey Guys,

I'm having problems with my Citroen Service Online login.

I can login with no problem but it tells me to either click on the picture of the car or van or input a chassis number.

This is the same if I click on replacement parts or the euro 5 parts thing too.

Anybody have the same problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks

David.

Just tried, works its usual way.
Log in, click free services, then replacement parts documentation, next car model from list, then car components, not car pictures.

No, you don’t.
You fill the application to Citroën’s requirements. http://service.citroen.com
Register at bottom right by filling what they want to see.

It does't give me a list to click on.

All I can see is the picture of the car and the van, nothing else.

Here's what I get when I log in:

Hi David,

It looks like a Mac screengrab, what browser/OS are you running?

Have you tried alternatives like Firefox if you're in Internet Exploder etc?
I used to have all kinds of problems and illustrations not viewing etc
and found chopping around between Safari, IE and Firefox got different
effects with each kind of Citroen Service parts search.

Andrew

<edit> I've just realised you're running the default Firefox
- I use plugins for a different appearance.

I renewed registration today after reading this
(thanks guys - it'll be the umpteenth time  :x )
and I used my employer's legitimate number/address and my name etc.

I've found keying the VIN straight in cuts to the chase anyhow so you're
only really losing the coverall car selector David - should still get the info
you'll be looking for.

Hi Andrew,

That screen dump was taken in Safari on Snow Leopard.

I've tried using Firefox on Snow Leopard and Internet Explorer on Windows XP and they all give me the same problem.

Might try reregistering in a bit an see what happens.

David.

i dont understand why some of you guys are talking about VAT No.'s, as i have never had any probs with loging in to service citroens site and useing it,

i have never had to enter any VAT No. ever,

if you mean at the point of clicking on basket the form that comes up, just ignore that and click the back arrow the re/click basket, this gives you trade price and part No. inc VAT, you only have to click the basket twice the first time in any one login setion

I really like Firefox and have used it since it began though I used to run
it's predecessor Netscape. I wonder if it is the OS as I'm happily running
10:.4:11 Tiger with no issues on older PowerPC kit.

I needed to input my employer's Company VAT number in one of the
compulsory fields to get it airborne this afternoon. No doubt given time
there'll be another purge which chucks me out again.

I recall some guys here have even suggested they've used Citroen UK's
own VAT number!!

It looks something like GB 272 3691 49. 1. :-**

I'll bet you've legitimately used the site during your work Malcolm
so they're hardly likely to chuck you out and I suspect you haven't
needed to re-register with this VAT number faff on. Mind, that wouldn't
explain your suggestion to toggle back from the register screen after
selecting the shopping basket... :?

Yup I just ignored the VAT number. It went grey and voila!

Used my old compnay name, well initials.

JUst find it slightly confusing. I get the model selection but then clicking on parts it seems to just offer petrol to me.

I will have rake about.

Andrew
the first time i click basket in any one login setion it goes to the registration form,

i ignore this and toggle back then hit the basket for a second time and it give me a price for the part i selected,

from this point it gives a price on every thing i look up without going back into the registration form,

also as i have mentioned in various posts regarding this subject,

the guy i spoke to at PSA TECH SUPPORT regarding the probs i had getting into peugeot service box said the cit and the pug site are open to all, and they dont lock/kick anybody out,

i would sudgest if anyone is haveing probs to give the PSA TECH SUPPORT at Coventry a call, they are very very helpfull and oblidging,

regards malcolm
