Hi guys dont know if this doable with the transponder imobiliser but it worked on my krypad type, My keypad fell out of its cassing taking the wires with it and as theyre all the same colour i couldnt figure where they all whent after much fiddling i managed to get all but two of the wires in and after checking the last two i found one was permament live and one was permanent negative so i decided ( Fed up at this point ) to see what would happen if i put the two wires together and hyoresto it started it turns out the last two wires where for the fuel stop solinoid so to save having to keep twisting wires together i put them on a switch in the dashboard.
If you can find the correct wires within the cowling around the steering column you should be able to do the same thing and just put them on a switch somewhere hidden just remember to switch it back off before switching off ignition otherwise it will keep running and ultimately damage the battery and alternator. ( found out the hard way ) this should then by pass the imobilliser unit on the pump.
Yipee i have the xant lets i hope i keep her this time

Hi CoXen,

Do your 2 pumps have the same pump number,if so swap over the top of half. when you speak of the main seal. Are you talking about the vacum seal in the UFO or the main seal between top half and the guts of the pump.

i dont think it can by pass the imobaliser, what you did i would say is just energised the imobaliser, which in turn energised the solenoid,

once we got into Jame's stop solenoid it turns out it has a post with no thread, and the wire is conectted by a spring colar which is a push on fit, so we cut the wire close to the module to re/use the original fitting/conector,

Hi CoXen and Malcolm

Is it like this immob from my pump
Image

The immo is fitted inside the armour and the black connecotr fits onto the solenoid.

Hi sorry citronut what i basically meant was that by doing this you would bypass ( Illiminate ) the need for for the transponder key as now i can start the car without using the keypad. This would then allow you to get a second key cut without the expense of the transponder

ok no worrys Synergietom,

yes Kenny that is the same imobaliser on both the pumps James has, the one on the car and the pug replacement, on his pug pump which is of the car w3hen we de/armoured it the black cap came away leaving the metal push fir colar on the solenoid, so we can reuse that as we just cut the wire as it goes into the electricery,
