Are you still driving for a living

If its only going to be an hour or so of welding then surely the gaffer must use someone to the servicing :)

Will they tow you to a garage to get it welded. It happened to me years ago with an old o rion i had.Exhaust split in 2 and AA tied it up and i followed them to a garage and had it welded for about £40.Lasted till i sold it on :)

Well it fell off on way to work early one morning. I tried to tie it up but could'nt. So off i went very slowly and noisy until it broke off from the back box. Not a lot i could do to be honest, So now there is a few little holes in the cat where it was rubbing on the road and the rest has had its day too..lol
So, i need a complete new system, of course i would like to do away with the cat but finding a place around here that can be bothered to help without fleecing my wallet is hard to come by.

I did mention in work if i got the parts i would pay for it to be done but no response as the gaffers father likes to make lots of money for doing nothing much.

The only time i have now is Tuesday morning as i do not have to go into work until late as im off to Brussels, Then i wont be home until Thursday. With a bank holiday coming up i want the car so as me and the other half can go off for the days i have off. She wont be too happy if we can't..lol.

Jobs going fine though, I spend most of my spare time playing with satnavs, had a good result today i now have Tom Tom truck software on my satnav. If only getting and fitting an exhaust was so easy..

Just an update on my exhaust.
Found a local place that sleeved and done away with the cat.
Called in there yesterday as i've been away most of the time and he said i will open early on Saturday morning and do it for you before i start the jobs i have booked in.

Local garage to me and an independant garage.

Job done for £60.

Guess who will have more work from me.. What a pleasant suprise, a helpfull garage for a change.

Thanks all for the info and offers of help.
