If you want a cheap C5, i'm selling mine, looking for £500, its a 2001 model hdi lx in silver with 204,000 miles on the clock runs spot on and would happily drive you to scotland and back tomorrow, but needs a new back box as the tip snapped off which made it slightly noisier and there is a vibration in the back right wheel once you get over 50mph most likely needs balancing, and the back right door looks like it was resprayed with a can as it isnt as shiney as the rest and the outside on the back right door is intermittent, it works about 70% of the time, but sometimes you have to lock and unlock the car again for it to work, always unlocks from the inside though, 3 months tax and 3 months mot

My new car has arrived now and my C5 is sitting there looking sad and i'm rubbish at selling my old cars, they usually sit there till the tax and mot run out then i park them on my front lawn (which annoys my wife like nothing else!!)

Very cheap C5 that blue one, though a few things would put me off it. Its a very early car so the niggles (of which there were/are many) were not ironed out. And its a 2.2, which i wouldnt like for reliability or economy reasons.

What is it you have replaced your C5 with TopDonkey?

Hmm, might be viable, yes.

Its a cheap car and ending soon, high mileage, LX spec and 90bhp makes it undesirable though. So as far as how much it would be worth if up and usably im not sure, it wouldnt be a lot. £1000?

Sounds as though the suspension pump has packed in, i think these are around £700 new, if you source a second hand unit it might just be worth buying. Though im not sure how much id like to drive a 90bhp C5.
