guys/gals/other, some help please. my dads berlingo van is playing up. theres a 11.7v drain on the battery for starters, tried disconnecting the alternator but its still there (are there any wiring diagrams or fuse box diagrams i can download)
also when the van gets to 1500rpm all the dials go back down to zero ?
any ideas ?

If it was draining at 11 amps it would be flat rather quickly.
Need to have inline ammeter to measure drain, then unplug things (obviously never switch ignition on during this, best to keep keys out)
You say you have already unplugged the alternator as that would of been my first thought (bad rectifier draining battery)
Next step is to unplug a fuse, check for normality on current drain, then replace fuse and remove another one etc until you find the culprit.
Once you have isolated it to a fuse (or perhaps two, check them all) , looking up what circuits that supplies will let you decide on the next course of action.
Not sure what else could drain that much power really. ECU relay but I do not think they can eat more than a couple of amps, possibly faulty cd changer etc.
Need to see what is causing it (which circuits) then work from there
