I`ve done the front set. What is the quickest way into the bulkhead set?
Lest I strip off more than I need (I usually do)

The "correct" way to do it is to lift the inlet manifold right off, which entails a bit of fiddling around with the hoses and wiring around the throttle body.
The "quick" way to do it is to leave all the pipes and wiring at the throttle end alone, and tilt the manifold from the other end. It probably saves about 15 minutes.
I have some photos showing the "quick" way, I can post them if you like.
You should have ready a new inlet manifold gasket, as they break about every second time the manifold is lifted.

I'd love some pics V6. The plugs I took out on front were pretty good. It`s possible though that the easier ones may have been changed and the rear ones left............you got to do them

Sorry if they are a bit big, my browser (Opera) scales them down nicely if you hit the 9 key a few times!
After removing the engine cover...
Unclip the coil connector
undo the Allen screws holding in the coil pack
Disconnect the HT cables undo the HT cable tray and lift out of the way (this one, like many, has been previously broken by not having the rear bolt removed).
Lift out the coil pack
You can now see the front plugs
They should not look like this!!!
Release te knurled sleeve on the cruise control actuator
Remove the allen headed screws holding the cable tray
Remove the stabiliser bar (can't imagine any useful purpose for it!)
undo main air hose to avoid straining it later
best to unclip the MAP sensor cable (this photo is reversed c.f. most of the others, (the manifold is on the left and the bulkhead on the right)
remove this vacuum hose
Fuzzy shot showing manifold bolt on nearside lifting bracket remove this bolt.
The manifold bolt on the offside lifting bracket
Remove the bolts holding the manifold to the engine. ease the cable tray out of the way.
gently lift the manifold and prop up the offside end
undo the screw holding the cable tray running over the HT cover
Undo the HT cover
Carefully lift the HT cover, easing the cable tray out of the way
Now you can see the rear spark plugs!

Many Thanks V6. I had oil in one of the front wells at the filler cap. Sure it was just spillage.
I wonder what time is in Stealer book for a V6 plug change ?

I have put them roughly in the right order and labelled them.
As you can see mine were full of water (and the back ones as well), due to carelessly washing off some spilled anti-freeze. Remarkably the engine still ran, but with a bit of a miss.
When I first changed the plugs on this car at 80,000 miles, it had a full service history, and the front plugs had obviously been changed, but the rear plugs were badly worn and had obviously never been changed.
