Xantia V6 Fault Codes

Post by DHallworth »

Our Xantia V6 developed a really bad misfire today so I plugged it into the Lexia.

Turns out the misfire has cleared itself. Think it was water in the petrol as it was filled yesterday.

However it did come up with the below faults from the ECU's.....

Anybody got any suggestions?

Gearbox ECU
Permanent Fault - Stop Lamp Switch

Suspension ECU
Intermittent Fault - Steering Wheel Sensor
Intermittent Fault - Fuel System
Intermittent Fault - Front Electrovalve
Intermittent Fault - Rear Electrovalve
Intermittent Fault - Auto Diagnostic Line

Dead Locks ECU
Intermittent Fault - Low Voltage Detection

Injection ECU
Intermittent Fault - Water Temperature sensor coherence

Coded Anti Theft Device ECU
Fault - Engine Control Unit Connection

Any suggestions that you guys can suggest would be welcomed!

I wondered if the suspension ECU could be caused by buggered mosfets.

David.

As a rough guess for that lot, are your battery and alternator OK?

The Gearbox one, you must press the brake pedal when the codes are read, the suspension and other faults, not unusual clear them and re-read after a week or so.
