Welcome back, Last i heard from you your were in Finland or some such  Now you have a C1!

How does the C1 feel compared to the Xantia? Or are you still awaiting its repairs? Do you have a pre-facelift one of does it have the little mouth?

My C5 has been throwing wobblers recently, so it got me thinking, what small cheap and newish car could i get which would be cheap as possible to keep, fuel, insure, tax etc. Then i could still have an Xm for my Citroeneering!

Anyway i went looking around some dealers and actually forgot what the C1 and its brothers are like, i quickly thought i couldnt go from a C5 that one of those. So the C5 had better be on its best behaviour, as it has a second chance

Im a fan of small cars with small engines though, but i still like my big car features in them.

Well I have to say the C1 is quite good for the size, will cruise at 70 all day, and handles quite well, especially now it has custom brembo pads and disks on it and stiffer dampers that I ordered from france.

Its a facelift car, i drove it for a few days with the damage and its seemingly well screwed together, comfy all things considered and easy to park :P

The pedals have been checked, its being repaired by a citroen dealer anyway, so asked him to look, alls well there.

And as for getting a real citroen......In time lmao, when the finances are back to normal

Yeah, all three got facelifts at the same time, 107 & Aygo. The 107 is hideous, looks like someone has stuck a huge box onto its front bumper and a chrome strip - does that make all the difference? :?

The C1 got a new face, new wheel trims and new trim levels, VT/VTR etc.

Ive got to say, their running costs are very appealing.

I had one of the earlier 107s for a week, as a loan car, for a small cheap car it was ok.

So when do you get your repaired C1 back Steve? Was it only minor damage since you were still using it?

Certainly loads around, and they do really go for a 1.0. Insurance group 1 and £35 a year to tax, its not bad!

Hello Steve, glad to see your back m8 :D As you can see our Xantia has moved on to safe hands, and is still in the fold.

Japs revise and lift their cars almost yearly! Rediclious, makes the need to supply a MASSIVE stock of all different panels because each one is different
