S2 estate seats into S1 Hatch

Post by KP »

I've tried using the search function but just can not even get a result when using S2 or S1 as the only search criteria :(

Does anyone know if then seats from an S2 estate will go in an S1 hatch?

IIRC estate can go into hatch but, hatch can not go into estate. Is it the same with S2 to S1?? S2's can go into S1's but S1's cant go into S2's as no side airbags?

If they are anything like the XM, the rear seats in the estate are wider then the hatch so won't fit.

Not sure on a Xantia though.

Whatever series the back seat backrests are totally different between
estate and saloon. The squab wil be the same design/fitment though.

Dang. Will the rears from an estate not fit into the hatch at all due to width or suchlike? Was hoping that estate would go into a hatch :(

Ok, I'm not 100% here but did plan on doing the same you are in the
past and recall the length of the backrest is slightly different as well as
width but more critically the method of securing the seat up is a totally
different design.

Dam, Guess that means the covers can't be swapped over :(

Was hoping to bag a bargain and give my car some nice new electric heated leather that had barely been used :(
