With regards to reliability, at least with our currently owned CX's, Xantias and XM's, is it that as models they were inheirently reliable, or is it that all the unreliable ones made have died off?

The general public are pretty ignorant about most things. That`s why they consider taking their kids to McDonalds a treat or consolidating their debt by taking on more.

Explaining a Citroen to them is like describing why you go on a kayaking holiday while they lie on a beach in Benidorm in view of multi storey buildings

Let them eat Cake :D

The mass majority of the public are ignorant , brainwashed and apathetic. Thats how Governments get away with the BS they shovel on the population and manage to stay in power without being strung up !!

Most of the public have forgotten how to use their own mind due to the years of subtle brainwashing from all sides, government , advertising , education , police , councils etc. So expecting them to make an informed choice regarding the car they drive is a non starter !

Check this out for a bit of the truth !! You may be shocked !!

Must admit though, the green snow I've just cleared from where the Activa sits is a bit worrying... :?

People think of Citroens as being cheap and nasty, which is especially amusing when said person is a Peugeot fan.

My mate bought an XM 2.1td SED 1991 H reg, and I know that he car CAN stand for a MONTH with battery attached, and it STILL STARTS forst time!! And that was when I left it out side for a MONTH too!!!

I always tell people that....especially if its a hydraulic Citroen....and a diesel to boot :P

The fact is, not many joe public members actually "know" alot about cars, they just follow the crowd.

I say dont knock something until youve tried it  If you havent tried it then how can you even voice an opinion?

Its like my son last night saying "Daddy i dont like my soup".....How do you know i replied, youve never had it before.... :)

I think over the years, we as a family must have had more or less everything 2CV, Dyane, Ami, GS, GSA, BX (by the plenty), ZX, CX Saloon, Safari and Familliele, D Safari, Xantia, C5 and of course now my C6,

If only I'd have realised then what I know now.....

I constantly get jokes about my car, but "revenge is a dish best served cold" some of our staff could even get to work from 5 miles away in a 4X4

I bought my first Citroen about 25 years ago, it was a CX25 D Safari, I didn't buy it because it was a Citroen but because it was the first really refined diesel, it was only after a drove it for a while that I realised what a superb car it was, I had three, the last being a DTR, I had that for seven years and over 150,000 miles. I have since owned three BX's, a ZX and seven XM's. All the while I can still repair them I wouldn't consider anything else.
