Central locking sensor

Post by davewithington »

I've been trying to get my remote central locking working on this Xantia I bought in November.

Bought a good plipper (new actually) but couldn't get it to program in. There is current going through the fuse, so I prised the dome and its mounting from the roof, to find the white plastic block with the sensor on was covered in duct tape, and the block stuck into position with bluetack.

Looks like part of the sensor is missing as well, so will need another. Anyone got one of these lying about spare I can buy?

Car is an early 1993 1.9TD (yes it is a sinker) VSX

i'm after one as well. Tried a blipper on mine, and nothing, I should rip my dome out and see what the big deal is.

Is there nothing on ebay?
