Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there are about 30 different combinations of the keys. Its not 1 key fits all otherwise there would be no point in having them.
If they were factory fitted you should be able to get the key number from citroen for a small charge & order the correct key for them if there is no urgent need to get them off yet.

I would assume he knows there are different combinations otherwise he wouldn't have done the drawing, it's not a large number mind of combinations, he maybe trying his chances hoping someone on here would have a set like his, not a big chance of course, but you never know.
He also got a new set also knowing they won't open the old ones, so i doubt he wants to fork out again.
so all he is asking is, does someone have the same combination as he does?

I take it there is no chance of hammering a socket onto it? Thieves sometimes do it with stunning results! . Do you have a Mig?

There are numerous devices for removing them advertised in trade catalogues - which means that someone is buying them!
So may be worth a call to your friendly tyre shop or mechanic to see if he can remove the old ones for you. Looking at them I think some need to be operated by an impact wrench as they dig into the bolt - and I'm not sure if you'll be able to use them without the wrench.

First thing I do with lock nuts is bin them . My wheels are on and off too many times to be faffing with adaptors. Suppose I am lucky as there is no thieving around here.

Locking wheel nuts are a total PITA !! I used to have a business tuning and servicing Evo's and most cars we saw had these POS fitted.
After a number of cars where the owner dropped off and arranged to come back later , without leaving the nut key in the car , I adopted a policy of making the customer responsible for either removing the locking nut before bringing the car or replacing it with a normal nut. WE HATED THEM !! Had one joker who fitted a different locking nut to EACH wheel !!

In relation to locking nuts, do we really need to lock "Factory Alloys"??
Arent they for the stupidly rediciliious expensive made of gold alloys that cost a million to buy?
I cant agree more either, they really are a PITA!

Don't think anyone would be sad enough to nick the wheels of my Xantia , unless they were after the scrap value !!

there was no picture or drawing on the post last night when i replyed to it.deian wrote:I would assume he knows there are different combinations otherwise he wouldn't have done the drawing, it's not a large number mind of combinations, he maybe trying his chances hoping someone on here would have a set like his, not a big chance of course, but you never know.

The small charge is just to get the code for key which is around £15
Not completely unrelated story but I had my Son change my pads on the V6 and he left the nut lock attached and I took a drive down to Halfrauds and back.. (12 miles) guess what the lock had fell off. Decided to drive the same route with my Son keeping a good look out and we actually spotted 3 of the same type (one on a roundabout which was a bit hairy) and then found mine in the parking space I had used at Halfrauds.. Phew!

foolzz,
Thats how i lost mine changing a puncture late at night,
in answer to DickieG if you look at the first picture they design the locking nut with a weak spot that breaks when you use them.
i guess i am going to have to bash an old socket on to them.
