Hi Pridz,

ALSO Check mounting compatabilities, they ARE different depending on which type of tensioner you have!!

Outputs shouldn't be a problem.. although, im unsure of the output on the TD..

Mine has a Valeo alternator with output 90A.
If it's possible send us all available numbers on the type plate.

As citroenxm said, fixings differ between models and depends on with or without air condition.

It's possible a diesel alternator will have different sized pulley to a petrol one to account for the generally lower revs of the diesel engine....

pridz, if the alternator is still in the scarpyard :)
here's the Valeo identification number from mine --> A13VI101

There are cross reference tables on the internet where you can compare with yours.
The numbers are usually under thick cover of dust :(

(edit: some more compatible Valeos: A13VI102, A13VI232, A13VI233, A13VI262, ...)

FWIW, my none aircon Xantia has 80 amp Valeo, model A13V187.

As well as checking the mountings are the same, suggest you make sure the terminals & connectors are the same - somewhere I've seen something to suggest there are differences

According to the cross reference data available on Wood Auto web pages, one from a 2.0i 16V would not fit your 19 TD :(
They have different mounting.

Check these Wood Auto (UK) alternator data pages:
--> Xantia 2.0i 16V http://www.woodauto.com/Unit.aspx?Man=V ... f=A13VI101
--> Xantia 1.9 d,td http://www.woodauto.com/Unit.aspx?Man=P ... ef=A13VI87

I have a spare pulled from a 1.9TD MK1 with aircon but if there were part numbers and ratings, it's long been washed off. All I can see is VALEO.
