I think ebay is full of ARRGGGHHH! moments. I love the fact that every so often I can buy a thermostat and shock absorbers for my GSA #-o .

I remember going with my grandad a few years ago to a ford dealer, and he asked the guy behind the counter for a right hand winkie for an esort.
Guy behind the counter "a what"
Grandad" You know a winkie light"
Guy "no sorry"
I translated and we got the indicator and went home.
more of a ha ha than an argghh

I had a DOH moment many years ago.

I was working for a lorry spears ferm and was sent to pick up some brake pads from a Mintex outlet, I drove up and down the road three times and couldn't find them, so I stopped, walked into the closest wharhouse and asked where they where.

The guy behind the counter just told me to go outside and look upwards.

Yes the sign read..................... MINTEX,

DOH.

i went into my local F**D part department asked for a cam oil seal for a pinto engine, i was told the computer was down and he could not find the part in there paper copy of stock held, so he could not sell me one,

this was an elderly member of staff who had worked there from the year dot
