Goo in the oil filer cap and stick ??

Thats surprising. Assuming thats the case though , 4 miles a day is still bad news for any engine.
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(

Yeah , have to say , unless the journey started and ended with a hill I'd be on a bike !!
