Anyone able to help with a paint code?

Tempest comes up as ETK in Standox. Also known as Gris Crepuscule.

EYP, Gris Fulminator AKA Storm Grey. It replaced ETK, and is still a current colour (C6, C4 Picasso etc)superloopy1 wrote:Thanks all ... just what I was after

ETW is of course the best colour.
GRIS GRAPHITE MET ETW 1993-1999 MA883.50
GRIS SILEX MET ETW 1989-1999 MA883.50
But I suspect that neither is actually the right formulation for your Xantia, as the colour changed when citroen changed paint suppliers sometime in the 1990s (before 97). Every aftermarket touchup paint i bought was for the earlier lighter grey, but genuine Citroen pouch up paint is nearly the right colour.
BTW, I wouldnt mind a pristene RH rear door in ETW, mine has a nasty little crease.
Note that that site lists ETW twice!DickieG wrote:You should be able to find what you want here

Gris Graphite comes up with the code EVM in Standox, from 1990 to 1998. Gris Silex is ETW, from 1990 to 2004. On the digital colour display, ETW appears lighter in shade.
Mike, your colour will be ETW. EYP replaced it in 1999 a far superior colour, darker, and with a great blue/gold pearl in sunlight :p)
Where did you get Tempest from? Ignore the last two letters, its the first 3 in the code that are relevant.

I'm not hugely taken with Gris colours generally but ETW is one of the better ones. Is it not pearlescent? I fancy the MK1 V6 brocure I have seen called it Mercury Grey...

No it was a previous owner, and the paint is unbroken, but now the car has to last another 10 years, I think I would rather find another door.CitroJim wrote:Never spotted that in all the time the car was here Hope it did not happen whilst in my carexantia_v6 wrote: BTW, I wouldnt mind a pristene RH rear door in ETW, mine has a nasty little crease.
