Post by pridz »

Hello to all,I have been a member of the site for two years but never plucked up the courage to post.I feel to get the most from the siteI should start posting,it is one of the first sites i visit when turning the computer on.I have a mk1 face lift td sx whichI have had for three fairly trouble free years.I have had two clutch clips go,replaced all the spheres. and am in the middle of fixing/diagnosing heater fan.I find the site so friendly and informative. Many thanks to all.Pridz

Welcome!

2 clutch clips!!?? :o

You should only need to do it once, this is indicating a problem at the gearbox end then, as it must be putting too much strain on the clip to break it twice.. If not had a new clutch, it could be friction plate/release bearing, but also the nylon bushes the release arm works in...
