No problems, read this thread from Handy Hints & Tips --> http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... hp?t=26012
You need to find which sensor is faulty by measuring resistances (see second picture). After that probably a sensor replacement will solve the problem.
But first locate the defective sensor.

The second picture of the thread is from MK2, connector with pins and orange colored frame.
A healty ABS sensor should give 1030-1100 Ω reading when measured with a meter.
That connector is located in the engine room, between battery and LHM tank.
Edit: I saw that you have started a new thread "ABS warning light on....". We can continue there...

The light went off last night, after I jet washed the car and took it for a thrash up the M6
Ive tried low and high speed emergency stops (both at 70MPH, 40MPH and 20MPH), everything seem great.
Cant work out how to get a pic shrunk enough to get on my profile, and how do you post pics to the room?

I do apologise! ALL automatic Exclusives have cruise control, but only the automatics.
What confused me was my Xantia brochure, from 2000, it says cruise is on V6s only. However in 2000 only the V6 and HDi were available in the Exclusive, TCT in the estate too of course. My earlier brochure says all autos.
So yes, all auto Exclusives do have cruise control fitted as standard
The easiest thing to do with regards to posting up pictures is to go to www.photobucket.com, create an account - takes 2 minutes and is free.
Then you search for your pictures on your computer using the browse function, if you want a few pictures highlight a few. Then click upload and it will upload them onto your photobucket account. Then once they are there you can name each picture if you wish. Once they are there if you move your mouse over each picture a drop down box will appear. Copy the bottom link (IMG Code) from each picture and paste that directly onto your post on here.
You can if you wish change your pictures using the edit function. This allows you to blot out number plates if you want, resize, chop bits etc etc. Though i usually just post them directly onto here, and have not been told they are too big yet!
Its really easy once you do it the first time, will be good to see your Exclusive!
You could even start a thread in the blogs and galleries section for your pictures and future updates of your car.
Hope that helps!
Chris.
