FREE Custom Shift Gaiter/Boot!

Post by ShiftStyle »

Hi guys,

I have been making custom shift gaiters in leather and alcantara for the last couple of years, and I'd like to start making parts for some of the French cars.

Was wondering if anyone would be able to loan out their Citroen (any and all models) gaiters for a couple of days, and in return, I'll make you a custom gaiter., You can choose any material, colour, and thread colour you would like.

I'm in the UK, so I'll work quickly to get you your new gaiter :)

Please let me know.

Thank you :)

Hi all

Just a followup, i got my new gaitor back today, i was going to be interesting and go for some alcantera but in the end went with boring black leather and black stitching to keep things matching.
Have to say thanks to MRShifters, it really is very nicely done with very good materials thank you very much, and im not just saying that because it was free  , i will get a picture up in a day or two with it in the car.

The base itself around the console is a kidn of plastic frame to which the fauw leather wraps around but the knob section is formed into one shape from what i can tell and will only come off when the knob comes off. Im loathed to put much pressure on it as i dont want to be left with a floppy knob (thats too funny to even need moderation!) ... :D

As much as i would like to say something smart and witty about your leather, applying too much pressure and the risk of getting a floppy knob, i dont think that post can be bettered without being distastefull so i wont  .
