C5 2003 LeX ESTATE DIGITAL DISPLAY

Post by StevieOMG »

Hi. Wonder whether ayone can give me any advice. Kids were playing in the car and now when driving, the digital display beeps and states that the speed limit has been exceeded. Is there anyway of returning the display to normal, i.e. time, date, radio station etc

Assume some combination of buttons will achieve. Never happended before and have owned since new.

Have a look in the handbook, there will be an instruction there on how to cancel the overspeed notification. My SX doesn't have it unfortunately.

You could also try scrolling through the menus to find it. I usually manage to get mine to speak German before getting it to do what I want (change the time, usually)

many thanks. The joys now of where I put the handbook. Not the sort of thing I have had to refer to before. Still MOT tomorrow so may have bigger issues to deal with.
