Hi all,
I have had this problem before but it seamed to sort itself out.
There is a wet patch under the front passenger seat, just behind the bar that travels across. I read on here a while ago that it was caused by a blocked leak-off pipe in the sunroof. (Not sure if I remember correctly.)
I have tried to search this subject with no luck. Can anyone shed any light on this for me.
Thanks Martin

Hi Martin,
The sunroof drains exit in four places. The fronts just under the mudshields adjacent to the A pillers and the important ones at the rear exit high up in the rear wings, almost at their highest point. This is a mud-trap and they're likely blocked.
Best to remove all the accumulated mud under the rear wings and then blow the drains out from the sunroof using an airline. You can then test they're working with a jug of water.
Check also under the back seats. You'll likely find the seat wells full of water.

Yes, then if the drain pipes are blocked, it will back up to the top of the pipe, then it will spill out of the drain channel, its path then is down the rear quarter panel just above the rear seat back rest, then to the floor, then as Jim says into the under seat base wells, (tilt seat base up to see) then eventually into the floor...
Hence my favour for Non sunroof cars, and also more head room..
