Hi,driving my Y reg citroen c5 2L HDI and dreaded engine management light came on and went into limp mode.
Decided to service it first and no change .Even though I'd recently changed the air filter i decided to check it as a last resort before 'big bill'time at the dealer 'just read your fault code'%&$(*houses.'
As i took the filter off I noticed that the small tube from the big air ducting to the sensor on top of the intercooler had snapped completely.I first glued it then strengthened it with fixaleak and all is well and even the lights gone out.
Warning to all.Check all under bonnet before you get them to read the fault codes and tell you your ****** needs replacing.
engine management light 'check before you buy'
