Iso connector for cd player ?

Post by Neilsouth »

I'm going to take the pioneer head unit out of the mr2 and put it in the xsara , can i get an iso connector for this to go with the xsara 1.4 ?

It does have some sort of audio control's on the steering wheel of the xsara But i am not bothered about those control's so can i just use the iso connector without some stupid adapter ?

Thankyou

Not sure about the Xsara headunits compared to the Xantia but i would imagine the wiring is all in ISO plug format so a pioneer stereo/cd player should be a case of plug n play.As for the steering wheel controls i would be suprised if you cannot aquire an adaptor that will allow you to use the steering wheel controls

Took the car to an audio specialist i couldn't be bothered to do it all again and i was lucky they said it would connect to the cdplayer perfectly. All they needed to do was add a new faceplate and cage?.

£25 all done , the speakers in the doors had already been updated previously to nice speakers. Sounds lovely , so now all i need to do is get that annoying window sorted :x
