No, my main aim was to disturb as little as posibble and just cure the leak and put it back together. The seal pictured was extremely hard and flat as a pancake. I would have liked to have gone further but after reading the strip and rebuild manual I thought it best to leave well alone. I was feeling brave, but not that brave :lol: If I come across a second hand pump then I'd like to practise on that but that was my one and only...

Yes, your a brave man, I used to do DPA pumps but never had a go at anything as complicated as that.

Seems to be cured, I've done nothing more except drive it. :oops: I haven't able to up untill today as I have had my front bumper and OS wing off to be resprayed. As it stood without battery on for sometime I think the ecu needed more input from the other sensors which it was able to get just being started stationary. Might be talking rubbish but it seems to have worked. :D
