is there any way to adjust/bleed the clutch on a 2.0 hdi c5?

sometimes seems to be catchin/ crunching going into 2nd/3rd

got a reciept for a new cluych approx 18k ago

No adjustments on it at all sadly and not bleedable either :( Well, not easily anyway.

A crunch into third is not unusual on a MK2 and is something I put down to worn gearchage cables as these are different to the MK1s fitted with the ML5 'box and this problem never seems to occur on them.

I had this problem on my MK2 Activa and had a set of replacement cables to fit but the car was sold before I did the job and the cables went with it. I don't think the present owner has swapped them yet. Gareth?

is there a bleed valve anywhere then ? ?

dont really know much about these hydraulic jobbies :(

No, the whole hydraulic system is sealed for life :(

Sounds like my sealed system. There is actually a reservoir on the bulkhead.. and I had to take the clutch hydraulic pipe off the slave cylinder,hold it against it tightly,while the mrs bled from the pedal end:

How could air have got in though?
Maybe it's just worn or gbox cables as Jim says.

Nope, still sitting in the roof of my garage. Does still crunch sometimes but moresore if its rushed, not a problem normally.
