c5 total loss of power

Post by mm1 »

got sorted.local mechanic put the computer on car.3 faults came up.faulty air flow meter, faulty brake light switch, and turbo pressure reduced.the brake lights were working fine and the car had power once it got goin in the morning so he decided to change the air flow meter.he got it from local scrappy.that cured the problem in the mornings, car goin alot better.the computer would not clear the 3 faults that were comin up even though everything seems sorted.any ideas on what this problem could be?

What computer was he using to read the error messages? It may be that reading and not clearing is all that it can do.
