Xantia CD Changer Blaupunkt CDC A05 Info Required

Hi all
Have been scouting around for the said lead and come up with a couple of possabilities
There is This Lead
or there is this one
Any ideas if either of these may be compatable

I can't tell much about the lead in the bag, but it has a blue connector.
The lead with the close-up appears to have the correct round connector, but the blue connetor will not fit the socket under your seat. Maybe it would plug directly into the head unit.
If you are prepared to cut and solder the wires under the seat, then there is a pretty good chance it would work.

Not had much time to devote to this recentley but think i may have found a solution
If i get a double din 13 pin lead and a set of 9 way mate n lock connectors then i can remove/break open the old 9 pin plug and use the existing terminals.All ineed to do then is cut one end of the din lead off and use new terminals and then i have a proper plugged connection
Any one think this is a reasonable way to overcome the problem before i break open the old plug

So you mean taking a second wire off of each wire in the current loom and bosching a 13 pin round DIN on it too so you have both the 9 pin Cit and 13 pin round DIN on at the same time?
If thats what you're doing, it sounds good.

Have had a look at the wiring diagram for the OEM plug to 13 Pin connection and it appears that pins 3 and 7 of the OEM plug connect to Pin 2 of the 13 Pin lead so may end up with an 8 pin plug as detailed in this PDF Link
So my guess is this lead should be the one i need to mutilate

I think the way we'll sort it out is for me to spend an evening trying to sort out what pin goes where but they are so close together it'll take some time to work it out, as a start how many wires are there on the the lead you have?

My idea is to get the lead in the previous photo and then remove the blue plug.This should leave me with 8 wires.
I have ordered a set of Lock And Mate 9 pin connectors so i can replace the plug under the seat and then marry the pin outs up with pdf info on the 13 pin din.
The only thing i can see that i may need is to piggy back an extra wire from pin 2 of the din lead to enable pins 7 and 3 from the original Citroen plug to both go to pin 2 on the Din lead
Hope ive sort of made sense but guess theres an easier explanation

I found the piece of paper where I recorded the connections about 8 years ago 8) .
The round connector has the pin numbers embossed on it, but looking at the pins of the plug, with the key notch at the top, the pins are numbered:
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
13
and the rectangular connector has 2 rows of pins labelled 1A-7A and 1B-7B, looking at the pins on the chager cable (or the back of the connector on the car):
-- 2A 3A -- 5A 6A --
-- 2B 3B 4B 5B 6B--
The offset key is at the "1" end
The connections are: "round connector number" - "changer cable clour" - "rectangular connector number" - "car wiring colour"
1 - NC
2 - Brown - 5A - (Green)
3 - Red - 2B - (Orange)
4 - Green - 3B - (Yellow)
5 - NC
6 - (audio ground) - 6B - (Black 2way + Black 2way)
7 - NC
8 - Red (audio) - 5B - (Green/White stripe 2way)

Xantia V6, are you sure about those pinouts as they dont seem to add up.
I had a look through the CDC PDF which is what I used for wiring my loom and its different to yours, including the power pins which im sure are correct on the PDF as even though my 4030 didn't pick the CDC-A03 up, it still started seeking for CDs.
