Back box styles??

Post by Stempy »

I was looking at a nice Xantia in a car park the other day and noticed that the back box was different to the usual turned down pipe arrangement. This one has a slash cut exit pipe similar to those fitted to the V6 twin pipe outlet but this one only had one large pipe. Is this a standard fitment or was it an aftermarket jobber? I think it had HDi badges on the side but I can't remember for sure now.

I had a replacement similar to the one you describe fitted about 6 months ago from one of the exhaust/brake aftermarket places. Only problem is it's quite noisy.

I know I probably sound like a ponce, but I really like the style of it and as mine needs a new box I was hoping someone might know where I could get one.
