HDi 110 Engine wire diagram

Hi All

Ive had a look in the Revised BoL with the HDi unit for Xantias, BUT theres NO wireing diagram for the HDi engine in it..

Was it too complicated for them??

Does anyone have a Wiring Diagram for a 110bhp Xantia Equpit car??

Need to start looking at the wireing side of things, the mechanical side of the headaches are sorted!!

Of all the diagrams I have, none cover the HDi models.

Hi Paul

Have quite a few original workshop manuals obtained mainly from ebay.
Do not think I won any Xantia ones though. I need to know the PSA engine designation and if possible a list of vehicle models/years it was fitted to do a proper search. A quick flip through the 40 odd volumes of Citroen stuff at home only found HDi references in some engine overhaul booklets, some fault finding guides and a volume of Relay Van wiring diagrams for later production years. There are another 100 or so loose booklets at home but doubt there is much if any HDi stuff in them as I picked them out as being of direct interest to me when I first looked through the stuff after collection. There are another 50 volumes of PSA stuff filling the back seat of a SORN XM that is currently buried under spares in the corner of the unit. Given time I will get to it but it would help to know exactly what I am looking for when I do the search. Most of the Pug manuals have model designations on the spine of the ring binder and information type symbols. I know they include a set of 406 ones. I also might be able to borrow a set of C5 manuals if that is the only source.

Hi John,

The Xantia was the PSA Guinnie Pig! It Debuted the HDi in 1998 to replace the 2.1 12v TD to start with, then in 1999 replaced the 1.9 td..

The unit im mostly interested in a Xantia installation.. however, I think a 406 from around 1998 99 should also do the Job, it has to be for the 2.o 8v 110bhp engine...

There are wiring schematics for the HDI in the Revue Technique manual (in French) for the Xantia Diesel (ref CIP 568.3).
