That's good news Kristian :D I had a feeling the timing marks were not coincident with TDC but grateful for you confirming that Dean :D

It makes sense really as when timing, you don't want there to be any risk of the valves contacting the pistons if you're a bit off.

So that pulley now becomes a "Special Tool" :wink:

Thanks too for posting the pictures of the 8V engine with bent valves. Rather graphic!
