Xantia door locks

When I try and lock or unlock my Xantia the key just spins around in the lock, if you wiggle the key as you turn it after a while you can get the key to 'bite' and then the central locking operates normally until you take the key out and you're back to square one.
As the passenger door lock doesn't work either and nor does the remote control locking I'm having to leave the car unlocked at the moment

Push the key in harder before you turn it ~ this works on my car without fail.

Had the same problem on mine. After a while it stopped 'biting' when unlocking. I ended up changing the locks

I had the same thing - when my R/CL failed a few months back I noticed I could not unlock the car using the drivers door. This was very annoying. Fixed the R/CL and never thought about it again.
Thought I'd give it ago yesterday - works perfectly [:D]
