ZX immobiliser keypad

Post by FrenchLeave »

My wife's "new" ZX, 1.9 n/a diesel, has a keypad. She's never had one of these and I forsee lots of trips to rescue her when it won't start.

The keypad on my XM TCT can be (and is!) taken out of use by keying in the correct number, starting the engine and then unplugging the keypad whilst the engine is running.

Can the ZX keypad be rendered obsolete by the same means?

Hi Derek -

Yes the same method can be applied to the ZX keyboard. Write down the code !
