Berlingo radio wiring

Post by gord59 »

Hi folks... simple question (I hope). I need to know which are the live & neutral (earth) cables on the radio on my 08 Berlingo. I've bought a signal booster, and was told that ALL radios nowadays have red/black... not mine.

The unit is a Clarion PU2859A(J). If there's no live, can I go from somewhere else? And are snap-lock connectors the right way of tapping in?

Many thanks, GW

Your radio won't have a switched live, just a constant live and earth. Otherwise it should be the same as a standard ISO connection. Hit the fag lighter supply if you want a switched live...

You can use Scotch-loks, but I personally think they're crap. Solder a connection if you want it right. ;)

Many thanks Ross - I agree about Scotch-loks. GW
