Xantia Alloy wheel lock nut key HELP... Anybody a key???

Post by ohms »

Hi all,

As you may remember in an earlier post I didn't have the alloy wheel locknut removal key for my 96 xantia. I still don't, but I do now atleast know which key I need. According to Citroen it is...

GD31

If anybody has one of these pesky things could they have a look at it for me please and see if perhaps they may have the one i need.

Would be really, really appreciated and a massive help

Thanks so much :D

Is that the one listed, as the one it was sold with?

Just checked mine and the numbers and letters are all different, giving the suspicion that there are a lot of combinations.

The new key costs almost same as a new set of bolts with the key. I have asked it in year 2007 from the dealer.

If you contact a main stealer, and find someone who can help there, there might be one person who can help.

Explain the problem, and ask if they can remove the offending bolt using their master set, which should contain all the combinations of all the different ones, used on your car.

This sort of assistance should be free, because they can even get an apprentice to do it for you, and it's good customer P.R.

How long did it take for them to get it for you?

I bet if you went to your local tyre dealer they would soon get them off for you, i had the same problem on my SL so i got them removed and fitted another set.

I have a few sets of new locking bolts, if you know the length of the ones you require i will have a look

I didn't buy it. I went to the local tyre dealer and they removed the one that was too hard for the key. Three others I got off myself with the key.
