HDi Cambelt Interval

Post by Toby_HDi »

After a search on the forums it seems there is confusion over the correct interval for a cambelt change on the HDi.

Does anyone know the actual interval (in mileage and/or time) that Citroen specify. Of course I would always err on the caution so what is the recommended interval?

Am just trying to sort a chart of the jobs that I do to the car and when they would next be due.

Thanks
Toby

It should be no more than 5years/100k miles according to citroen but after the 1st it should be halved to 3years/50k tops really in our climate as it degrades the rubber in the belts :(
