C5 LDS Change

Post by JT »

Hi All
Just reading the new haynes manual on the C5.
According to the manual the fluid resevoir should be pressurised to 0.5 bar before bleeding the system after refilling.
Is this necessary?
Are there any easy ways to do this?

It can be pressurised using an normal coolant pressure testing kit, If the system has been completely drained ie new BHI then you can have trouble getting the suspension to rise if you dont pressurise it.

I was just going to drain the LDS from the resevoir and replace it with new fluid.
I won't be changing any components, I hope!!!!
