Which spark plugs ?

Which spark plugs ?
The one item not yet replaced on my car is the spark plugs. Looking around there are many variations available including some quite expensive Iridium tippped ones. Has anyone any thoughts/recommendations on type ?

I would recommend Eyquem spark plugs. According to my Xantia's specs I use type RFN 58 LZ.

Later type plugs are mostly F3 types, which have 3 ground electrodes for better longevity.
Also the fancy stuff irridium etc. is the center electrode composite which have far better longevity than standard plugs.
Thats how they make 50K (miles) service life out of recent plugs.
Standard plugs wont last more than 20K tops, and would have to be re-gapped a couple of times to ensure trouble free starting and running.

The factory derived service recommendations I have here for late XU10J4R, set an interval of 60 000km for replacing plugs. There is no inspection or adjustment scheduled before this, nor is it dependent on type of driving (urban or country). Wouldn't it be reasonable to suggest they've put a margin of "safety" on their product life, even at that mileage?Standard plugs wont last more than 20K tops, and would have to be re-gapped a couple of times to ensure trouble free starting and running.
When I get to 20K since replacement (in about two months) I'll pull one and have a look/photgraph it. From memory we used NGK to the original spec.
