Not quite... they've somehow managed to decrease the output of the 2.0-16V to 62hp and cut the fuel tank capacity quite radically.

You're quite correct there deian, it was the 840/850 I was thinking of.
Best looking car they ever made.

No wonder I had no luck searching for them among the 6's.

I think that's just a typo with the capacity, instead of 1998cc.

As to the engine power - I reckon mine would be under 100HP at the wheels! Maybe it's just honest?

If only SAIPA would take on remaking Dees...

No, they say the engine has a bore and stroke of 86 x 86mm which gives a displacement of 1998cc. 1989cc must be a typo.

I think the website is guilty of FFS (Fat Finger Syndrome). 62 BHP seems woefully low for the XU10J4R though. Another typo perhaps. 162BHP would be nearer the mark

Makes one ponder at how many ohter typos exist!

Still, I'm relieved to know the purpose of the centre armrest is to rest skis upon...

I wonder what one would have to do to import one, or if it is even possible to do so?

The very name of Xantia SX2000 bothers me. An SX2000 will always be a Mitel telephone exchange to me
