I see him logged-in on regular occasions; most recently last evening. He seems to have mislaid the "Post" button

No no no no NOooooooo.... I have the perfect place for the V8 right here :D

I've still got the cold starting problem, I've advanced the timing which helps alot but makes it really noisy and can't be good for the engine so I need to get the cold start mechanism sorted out sometime soon.

Good luck with the engine swap, Like the Morrettes too !

I think my dad might object to me taking his stag's engine though, the misserable git  what home do you have for it then Collin? .
I did think about putting a V6 engine in Jim but ideally i want to be able to have everything under the bonnet as standard rather than a Nova barry boy conversion and to do that really i need a whole car for the conversion and even if i could find a V6 XM i just couldnt bring myself to break it
Besides with a little help here i was thinking after the rebuild and a remap, maybe squeezing a bit more power out of it, say 200hp but i need to look into it to keep it quiet and refined without loosing the torque, i may not be able to get that, we shall see :-k .

Hiya Dean, I've got a TR7 convertible that would benefit from a V8 conversion if only for the sound it would produce :D
