I have to order the part no 992712 contact switch for the other half`s picasso. On citroen service it says to see rapid info 9 no 16.
does anybody know what it means?

The part you are interested in and want to order has been revised as
part of a recall/update/redesign which is explained in the Rapid Info
sheets which are faxed/posted to the Citroen Parts Dept which they
then file in the workshop manual. This should mean the tie up in work
required and options for the part get's the right fix! The 9-16 are entries
or chapters in the updates listing
Now the system is cross referenced online, there should be an access to
the manuals online too but I believe this can't be accessed through the
parts database for some reason! May need to speak to the Parts/Service
guys st your local Citroen Dealer.
