xantia water in fuel light question
My Xantia TD has the water present in fuel light that comes on/flashes intermittantly and drives me mad. I drive the filter regularly and looking around the internet this seems like a common problem caused by an over sensitive sensor. Short of removing the dash and taking the bulb out, is there another way to disable this sensor ?

The indicator is very, very sensitive and was in fact deleted from later Xantias. You even find a few with the sensor but no light or the loom and bulb but with no sensor.
As long as you drain regularly and change the filter regularly, no harm will come from disabling the sensor.
